Anderson Cooper is an international figure – an American author and television personality. He has been in the industry for almost two decades now and he has gained quite a very respectable reputation. Being one of the most popular news anchor in the world, his image must be kept as a credible one. He must be an embodiment of a partial and fairly delivered news scoop. And no matter the case is, his personal life will always be mixed with his work. That being said, Cooper had problems coming out as a gay, although he was sure that he is gay even as a kid, he had problems conveying it to his immediate family members and to his public viewers. It was only in 2013 when he had the guts to talk about his sexuality in the national television. “I’ve always known I was gay from the time I was a little kid… I can’t remember a time when I wasn’t aware of it, even before I knew what it was or the name of it” said Cooper on an interview. As a proud member of the LGBTQ group, it is one of his advocacies to promote the rights of the members of the group he belongs to.
