Certified Green Archers: Filipino Celebrities who Graduated from De La Salle University

Artists are product of several stories – stories of triumphs and successes, stories of pain and helplessness, and stories of hope and dreams. Among these, are stories of accomplishments in all forms of challenges in life, education not exempted. For most showbiz personalities, getting a degree in college is really a pleasure and a big achievement. But, graduating in one of the most prestigious universities like DLSU is even more fulfilling. To prove that education still matters, here’s a list of DLSU graduates who ventured into showbizness.

This hottie is a certified boy-next-door! Aside from being an actor, he also does swimming and modelling. When he soar to stardom in 2006, he was still a student. He said that he just do shows on his spare time, because his education is his first priority. He studied  Developmental Studies in De La Salle University-Manila and graduated in 2009. Since he is a swimmer, he also was once a varsity player of the swimming team. Today, he looks back with pride when his Alma Mater is being talked about.

  1. Marian Rivera-Dantes

Beauty and brains! This Primetime Queen is more than what she portrays on TV. She took up AB Psychology in DLSU-Dasmarinas. More than anything else, she treasures most her college diploma. She said that it was one of the gifts her Lola has given her – her education.

Isabelle, daughter of the former Beauty Queen Gloria Diaz, seemed to need a lot of effort to keep up with the viewers’ expectations. She was expected to be a queen like her mother – join pageants, and be an epitome of beauty. But Isabelle decided that she can be her own queen, by doing other stuff. She graduated with the degree in Education at DLSU-Manila. After that she ventured in showbizness, in which she is doing very great.
