Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao is more than just a boxer. He also is a known actor, singer, advertiser and commercial endorser. He definitely is a man of it all. Being an world champion has given me countless opportunities to be the face of some international brands. Here are some of his biggest international endorsements!
HP is an American multinational information technology which specializes in making high-class and state-of-the-art gadgets today. Since Pacquiao is an international figure, HP figured it out that he would be a very effective product endorser. Since March 2011, Pacquiao has signed a contract with HP and Top Rank as the mediating figure. It was rumored that the contract cost US$3Million which is valid for three years only.
Great achievement, comes with great party afterwards. And what makes fun parties? Yes, it is Hennessy. On November 2011, Manny also signed a one-year contract with this cognac liquor company. It was released that the contract is equivalent to US$1 Million. Some said that it was just a tactical move by the company because of the then upcoming fight of Manny against Juan Manuel Marquez.
Pacquiao, surprising as it is, is also an endorser of Nestle’s Butterfinger – the tastiest candy bar in the world. As a matter of fact, last 2015, during Pacquiao-Mayweather fight, Butterfinger bet an amount of One Million favoring Manny. Since the unfortunate event, Butterfinger, being true to its word, gave away Butterfinger products nationwide amounting to a million dollar.
One of Pacquiao’s pioneer and long-standing endorsement is Alaxan. Since the product matches his work credibility, the pain reliever really hit the market hard. His original advertisement featured him doing a work out on the ring, and feeling muscle pain. It seemed so real so people got so sensitized, and felt that they need to buy the product when they also experience the same feeling. From 2007, Manny has been the endorser of the product, and he was proven as effective as he is on the ring.
