Another cancer-causing food that you should stop eating now is the grilled red meat. Red meat include pork, beef, veal, lamb, mutton and horse meat. They are literally red because of the hemoglobin. Now, grilling them is a bad choice. According to a health study, the blackened areas on charred and grilled red meat are a source of carcinogenic chemicals. These chemical directly damage DNA, our genetic material, initiate mutations that can lead to the development of cancer. The altered state of the meat through grilling increases its vulnerability to carry cancer-causing chemicals.
