The common mistake we usually commit when we put something in the fridge is that, we want to prolong the life and freshness of the product. However, this is not always true for all. Garlic for example, when put in the fridge, does not increase its period of usability. As a matter of fact, it just becomes more prone to growing molds and decay because of the temperature. So, it would be best to just put garlic in a dry room temperature, and remember to consume it within 10 days after breaking its head.
